Best Dressed: Oscars 2014

The Oscars were tonight and y'all know where this post is headed. I have to be honest,  I was not as impressed with the looks as I thought I would be, but some people straight killed it. I think the biggest issue I had was with people wearing colors that didn't flatter their skin tones. However, in true All Worn Out fashion, we will only be celebrating fashion. Take a look at muh short list.

Lupita N'yongo. Once again, Lupita takes my pick as best dressed in a Prada gown. She also took the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her acceptance speech was perfection. She is perfection. I would dare to say that she is reaching America's sweetheart status. Like, if you don't like Lupita, you should reconsider your path in life.

Charlize Theron. I'm not sure who designed this dress, but the silhouette is sick. The sheer straps are weird, but the sheer train is pretty cool.

Emma Watson in Vera Wang. Emma is such a quaint beauty. Her eyes just scream, "Don't underestimate me."

Kate Hudson. I usually don't like when people wear colors that are so close to their skin tone or hair color, but this totally works. The half cape and train add just the right amount of elegance.

Amy Adams in Gucci. Simple usually wins. Amy Adams wins in this gown.

Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Couture. Dior is always a solid bet on the red carpet. And as per usual, Jennifer looks great.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt in Calvin Klein. I'm almost certain that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is going to be one of those celebrities that never appears to age. Leaving that aside, the fit of his tux is great considering his stature. A looser pant would have made him look even smaller, so the decision to go fitted with no break was a good one.

Kelly Osbourne. She made the list once again. Her body looks incredible and I'm totally feeling the shawl.

Cate Blanchett in Giorgio Armani. Again, this dress is pretty much the same color as her skin, but I think it looks great.

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves. We're just gonna focus on Camila. Yes, Matthew was the winner of the night, but Camila easily stole the spotlight on the red carpet. That color could have so easily gone towards baby-ish, but she keeps it grown-up.

Naomi Watts in Calvin Klein. Simple and elegant.

Angelina Jolie in Elie Saab. I was on the fence about this one, but my friend Natalie convinced me that she looked good. This dress is just very celebrity-esque.
